More about this Producer
Domaine Thibert Pere et Fils has a strong terroir identity and a combination of purity, opulence, concentration and minerality that makes their wines attractive both in their youth, and after many years in the cellar.
Born to more than 7 generations of winemakers, the Thiberts created Domaine Thibert Père et Fils in 1967 and have now grown the vineyard to approximately 55 acres (22 hectares) of mostly Chardonnay vineyards distributed over all the appellations of the Southern Mâconnais. It is now run by husband and wife team, Christophe and Catherine Thibert, and co-managed by their two children, Sandrine and Christophe, who joined the Domaine in 1999 and 1991 respectively..
The vines average 40 years, and are cultivated using organic approaches and integrated pest management.
Domaine Thibert Père et Fils is a family-owned domaine located in the small village of Fuissé in the heart of the Mâconnais.
