The Fattori Amarone is 65% Corvina, 15% Corvinone + 10% Rondinella along with + 10% other varieties from the Bastia, a valley between the Val d’Alpone and Val d’Illasi in Italy.
The grapes are handpicked during the last two weeks of September and gently dry for around 4-5 months, to concentrate their flavor and sweetness. They are then crushed in the winter and fermented with natural yeast in oak barrels for 30-36 months.
The intense ruby red color and red ripe fruit flavors make this wine rich, refined and elegant.
