August 4th is our next dinner in the garden! The special guest for that event will be Núria Garrote-i-Esteve from VinoVi & Co. She is a native Catalonian, growing up in Barcelona. While she has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, she is also a wine advocate and importer of family owned, small batch wines from all over Spain. Her mission is to represent trailblazing Spanish winemakers that represent unique areas and products. She’ll be bringing a collection of rare wines from her import company on the 4th!
For those of you who don’t know Chef Brent Peterson, Executive Chef of Camille’s on the River, is a huge fan of Spanish cuisine. He will be preparing the three courses for the August 4th event, and he is excited to pair Núria’s wines with Spanish-inspired dishes. Like any artist, you give them their favorite medium and they’ll always create their best work. Whether you’re a wine novice or expert there is definitely a lot to love and learn regarding the wine and food of Spain!
Tickets can be purchased at Mountain Town Station anytime leading up to the event. They are $45+ tax & gratuity. Please check in by 5:30p the day of the event. Also, please park in the grassy area next to the railroad tracks at the back of our parking lot. If full, just park as far back in the lot as you can. Course 1: Mussels with essences of Jamon with tomato; shallot & spinach in an albarino-butter sauce (lemon & parsley)
