Home to some of Italy’s most important wines, the estates of Costa di Bussia and Cantine San Silvestro are situated in the picturesque region of Piemont, Italy. They have been owned by the Sartirano family for generations – keeping the spirit of founder, Luigi Arnulfo, alive in the region. His Barolo was imported to the United States since before the time of our Civil War.
We will taste with this dinner, Barbera d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba “Campo del Gatto,” Arcapla, Barbaresco, and of course, Barolo, finishing with their Moscato d’Asti. Marco Buttignol will be the special guest all the way from Piemont, Italy. He will lead us through the history of the properties and the tasting of the wines!
