“A Tribute to Grace” Added to Woodberry Wine’s Portfolio
Acclaimed Santa Barbara Grenache producer winning fans and garnering awards
Troy, Mich. – Wine distributor Woodberry Wine announces the addition of A Tribute to Grace to their portfolio, and introduces to the Michigan market a boutique, sophisticated line of single vineyard Grenache wines crafted by up-and-coming Santa Barbara wine maker Angela Osborne. In fact, in 2015 Angela was named among the “Top 40 under 40 Winemakers in America” by Wine Enthusiast, and her small production wines were named among the best domestic wines produced last year by Maggie Hoffman of Serious Eats.
Angela Osborne hails from New Zealand, and has been producing her single vineyard Grenache wines in the Santa Barbara Highlands since 2007. A Tribute to Grace pays homage to not only the wonderful attribute and state of being that can exist in us all, but to a woman who had a profound influence on her, her Grandmother. Her bio dynamically crafted wines have developed a cult like following – they are beautiful, pleasurable wines with notes of strawberry and spice, and an earthy quality more reminiscent of Burgundy than the Rhone. These food friendly wines are allocated and meant for pleasure. Angela also produces a Grenache based Rosé, and the 2015 vintage sold out in a mere 12 days.
Dan Glisky, Jr., CEO and Managing Partner for Michigan wine distributor Woodberry Wine stated, “The wines of A Tribute to Grace will quickly become a favorite in the Michigan market, to the clients who are, of course, fortunate enough to get some. Our team has received overwhelming positive reaction from our customers who have already pre-ordered them. Angela Osborne added, “I am delighted to be represented by the wonderful team at Woodberry Wine. It gives me great peace of mind to know Grace is in such like-minded hands, and I have always wanted to visit Michigan! Grace will beat me to it, but we will follow for a visit very soon. My stepmother is from Michigan, and she’s a star.”
The wines of A Tribute to Grace are allocated and immediately available throughout Michigan.
