The new year brings new trips to the wineries from our portfolio, and South America was a great way to get away from the cold weather in Michigan. Though it reached up to 90 degrees at times, CEO Dan Glisky took in firsthand knowledge, breathtaking views and vines, along with superb wine! At Woodberry Wine, we consistently visit the wineries from our portfolio from South America to Oregon.
The first winery visited was Vina Marty with legendary winemaker, Pascal Marty. The Marty family provided wonderful hospitality by showcasing their entire Vina Marty lineup, delicious meals, and in-depth education. The Marty family opened up their production facilities and home to Woodberry Wine.
Great day with renowned winemaker Pascal Marty, touring his impressive production facilities and tasting through the entire line-up of Vina Marty wines, including the cult wines Clos de Fa and Ser. Looking forward to sharing our experiences with everyone in the USA!

Vina Marty | Pirque, Chile
The second stop in South America was Bodega Abito in Mendoza, Argentina. Sebastian Mayo and the Grupo Salute team showed great companionship at their winery. Dan Glisky was able to visit the vineyard, production facilities, and as always, taste a large part of their portfolio! The Abito team was just beginning harvesting at the time of this trip.
An incredible experience with Sebastian Mayo and the entire Grupo Salute team in Mendoza Argentina. The wines of Abito and Bonomo Montiel are fantastic additions to the portfolio with estate fruit from the Maule valley. Harvest has started!
