Ch. La Dominique’s Gwendoline Lucas Visits

Gwendoline Lucas from Château La Dominique visits the team at Woodberry Wine!

Gwendeline Lucas is from Chablis in Burgundy. She started her career at JeanMarc Brocard’s before joining the export department of CVBG, a Bordeaux wine merchant. In 2009, she joined the Vignobles Clément Fayat team (Château La Dominique, Château Fayat and Château Clément Pichon), first to develop the sales in the Fayat group, then as sale manager in charge of relations with the Bordeaux trade.

She holds a Master’s degree in international trade of wine and spirits from the ESC (business school) of Dijon. Gwendeline Lucas has roamed numerous wine-producing regions before stopping in Australia and New Zealand. She has stayed in Mac Laren and Malborough to work in vinification and wine sales. Outside of Bordeaux wine, which she holds particularly dear, her Chablis origins can be traced in her pronounced taste for great Chardonnays from Burgundy.
